If you care about your skin but you're confused by all the hype and the vast array of 'lotions and potions' available then why not come along to the salon after school?
We'll guide you through the basics of how to cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin as well as how to analyse your own skin condition and help you choose which products are best for you. You can work on your own or you can bring a friend(s) and have fun trying out the products. We'll also give you some great make-up tips and you can give each other a manicure too.
You can come into the salon any time and we'll give you advice, but it's much more fun with your friends.

What a fantastic summer we're having this year - and don't we deserve it!
But let's be sensible - how many people do you know have suffered the effects of sunburn in the last few weeks - and how many do you know have or have had skin cancer. 90% of all skin cancers are a direct result of ultraviolet exposure from the sun and more than 2000 people die from skin cancer every year in the UK. We all want to enjoy the benefits of the sun, but wearing sun protection is ESSENTIAL. It is advised by medical experts and dermatologists that we should not be exposing ourselves to any UV light without a minimum SPF 15. Most moisturisers contain an SPF now and mineral make-up also has natural SPF protection. By avoiding overexposure, we also help prevent premature aging and pigmentation disorders such as age spots and skin lesions.
