Dermalogica History

When Jane Wurwand founded the International Dermal Institute, as a skin therapist and an educator, she soon began to realise that many of the skin problems clients were experiencing were caused by the ingredients being used in skincare products.

This gave her the inspiration to develop a skincare system that would be specifically aimed to improve the health of the skin and formulated without using any ingredients known to irritate the skin.

Dermalogica was launched in 1986, a product line free from:
